Apollo Atmospheric Evaporators
are a simple, low cost means of complying with EPA
regulations while recovering valuable dragout. Available
in polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, and PVDF, these
units can be used in a wide variety of applications.
Two standard sizes are available with evaporation
rates from 5 to 75 gallons per hour. By evaporating
water from a process tank, additional volume is
made available for some or all of the counterflowing
rinse water and dragout. The process tank evaporation
rate is increased by circulating the solution through
the large surface area in the evaporative tank which
is exposed to forced air. The Apollo Atmospheric
Evaporator can be utilized to reduce wastewater
volume from storage tanks which significantly;y
minimizes hauling costs.
Depending upon the application, the concentrate
can be recycled or disposed of at greatly reduced
costs resulting in higher profits. Zero discharge
and closed loop systems offer reduced operating
and treatment costs and avoid problems associated
with environmental compliance. |
